The International Short Film Festival of Bueu offers on his tenth anniversary a complete programme that includes the projection of one hundred short films and numerous parallel activities. Saturday 9th – Galician cinema is the protagonist
11:00 h Film Music: Street Concert of A Doce Vita, Sons de Cine, jazz quartet.
11:45 h Opening Act: Folk News Programme presentation and Megalópole Premiere.
13:00 h Vermouth session: Meeting Point opening and live music outdoors.
18:00 h Screening of 10th Anniversary Section.
19:45 h Meeting with Antonio Durán ‘Morris’, Galician Film Award at FICBUEU 2017 (Massó Museum).
22:00 h Galician Section screening.
23:30 Galician Section colloquium with the directors (Meeting Point).
0:00 h Drawing with light. Animated urban art by Luis Davila. Banda de Música Artística de Bueu will offer live music (outdoors Meeting Point).

Sunday 10th – Spanish film and family activities

11:00 h Caring Fic: screening and awards ceremony of school short films.
12:00 h The cinemagician, magic performance premiere by the magician Paco (Centro Social do Mar).
17:00 h Family Section screening.
18:30 h Cinematic tales, session of stories, that were taken into films (Meeting Point).
19:00 h Screening and following review of “Vertigo” by Alfred Hitchcock.
22:00 h Spanish Section screening.

Monday 11th / Friday 15th – Official section and Parallel sections

16:30 h Coffee in “El Séptimo Vicio” (“The Seventh Vice”) (Radio program open to the public). Javier Tolentino will talk from Monday to Thursday with our directors. There will be a live band every day. (Massó Museum)
18:00 h Parallel Section screening.
19:00 h Meeting Point opening.
19:45 h First pass Official Section. On the way out, at the meeting point, there is a colloquium with the directors about the short films projected.
22:00h. Second pass Official Section. Previously, at the Meeting Point, short films introduction by the directors.

Saturday – 16th Closing day

12:00 h “Living in a serie. Televisual fiction in our world”. Review of the rise of television series and their way of reflecting current events (Massó Museum).
18:00 h Masterclass: Galicia and Portugal, producing films between both sides of the border (Massó Museum).
19:45 h Carne Cruda, (Raw Meat), live. News, humour, live music and interviews with the Honour Prize of FICBUEU 2017 and other guests.
21:30 h Closing ceremony: award ceremony and screening of the winner short films.
23:00 h Closing party and Tanxugueiras concert (Meeting Point).
