En 2024, o Concello de Ordes adquiriu os terreos da antiga fábrica téxtil de Viriato. Máis de trescentas mulleres da vila traballaron facendo prendas de punto. Hai unha rúa en homenaxe a Viriato Lamas, pero nada dedicado a elas. Deixamos que nos conten que significou a fábrica para elas.
