Bueu, November 21, 2025 – The Bueu International Film Festival (FICBUEU) has released the documentary A Roiba, a Refuge in Beluso on its official YouTube channel. Directed by Jaime Olmedo, the short film delves into the history and significance of this unique building, designed by architect Ramón Vázquez Molezún in 1967 over the ruins of an old salt factory in the municipality of Bueu.
The film shows how, in this family summer retreat, Molezún combined his mastery of modern architecture with a more artisanal approach, resulting in one of his most emblematic works and a key piece of 20th-century architecture.
With this release, FICBUEU reaffirms its commitment to short films, cultural dissemination, and open access to its content. The documentary will remain permanently available on the FICBUEU Channel, enriching its audiovisual repository with the goal of promoting consultation and public outreach.

This project was supported by the Pontevedra Provincial Council through grants for publications on Documentary and Bibliographic Heritage.
