The directors of the shorts of the Galicia-R Section, will be present at the festival on Saturday, September 7th.

At 8:30 pm they will present their films at the Centro Social do Mar, prior to the screening of the short films.

At 10:00 pm, at the Meeting Point, they will participate in an informal chat with the public.

Homomaquia presents us a world where humans beings are treated as they treat animals, establishing a strong metaphor for bullfighting. Placing them in the role of the bull, HOMOMAQUIA represents the bull’s life with its violence, harshness, lack of freedom even at the time of mating, using his sexuality only with speculative interest purposes. It is a social denouncement of animal abuse and a cry for freedom.
